Perfect UV resistance without protection
Derbigum SP FR is composed of the best APP bitumen and two reinforcements decentralised to the surface – glass fiber and unwoven polyester fleece. Derbigum SP FR is perfectly resistant to UV rays without additional protection, but also to wind forces, thermal shocks, “halogen free” fire and also offers perfect dimensional stability. The roof, although technically considered inaccessible, remains walkable without risk of perforation or tearing.
Durable: 50 years, proven!
The BBA, British Bureau of Agrément, an independent British institute, has carried out surveys on 50- year-old roofs, such as on the highly exposed ArcelorMittal site in Dunkirk . Quick and easy application
With application by flame, glue, hot air or mechanical fixing, or even independently, Derbigum SP FR is suitable for all substrates – such as concrete, wood, wooden panels, steel decks, old waterproofing, with or without insulation, – both on running parts and for finishings such as upstands, around chimneys etc. Thanks to the quantity of bitumen under the reinforcements, it is easy to regain the roughness of the substrate.
