Ballerup Centret

Ballerup Center is a shopping centre located in Ballerup, a part of Copenhagen’s urban area where families, green areas and industries live in harmony.

Officially inaugurated in 1973 and extended in 1999, it was designed by the famous Danish architect Bo Cock-Clausen.

When it was created, Ballerup shopping center was one of the first of its kind in Denmark. Since the architect attached great importance to social gathering, he designed large bright areas.

Over the years, the city has become increasingly attractive for Danish companies thanks to a commuter train and the nearby Danish “Silicon Valley”. In 1999, Ballerup Centret was one of the first to have both an underground car park and a P-roof, so customers could park close.

In 2012, 8739 sqm Derbigum GC was applied on the concrete deck of the P-roof. GC product offers a superior resistance against thermal and climatic stresses over time, without any risk of distortion or cracking. An obvious choice when you want high quality. In the shopping center, there are about 69 retail shops, groceries, bars and restaurants, wifi-connection and many animations for kids and their parents all year long. Thanks to Krone Tag ApS expertise and the high quality of the membrane, many people will go on enjoying and sharing good moments in Ballerup Centret for a long time.
